Observations in 10 minute intervals began at 15:20 UTC on April 21 and ended at 17:50 UTC on April 23. During this event, a total of 11 weather balloons were launched — 8 successfully (at 17:00 & 23:11 UTC on April 21; 02:12, 05:14, 08:12, 17:11, and 23:16 UTC on April 22; and 05:30 UTC on April 23) and 3 unsuccessfully, due to hardware and software issues. Precipitation began at 15:20 UTC on April 21 as snow, but quickly transitioned to a mix of rain + snow (15:30 UTC) and then to rain (15:40 UTC). The afternoon was characterized by a mix of rain and quickly melting snow. Accumulation of snow on surfaces was observed at 21:00 UTC, with microphotography beginning at 21:10 UTC on April 21. Snow continued, at times light, until precipitation and observations stopped at 17:50 UTC on April 23.
